Negativity/ tired of it.

I have read so many posts on these forums. Novice people asking for help or just having a question. I notice that there are people on this site who are beyond hypocritical and it has buged me sinc I got on this sight I believe a few years ago.
People ask about vampires and wherewolfs and mermaids or physicly chaingeing the body. They get a response of no it is totally impossible or that's just a stupid thought... I wonder if the people saying its impossible know that over 2/3 of the world would say magic is impossible or stupid.
Also magic is like science in a way. We will never learn evereything. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of magic and finding new ways of doing things and learning some things we think are impossible arnt. So I would like evereyone who reads this to strive to learn new things, push the limits, become a pioneer. Evereyone is intitled to do as they please I'm just starring my opinion.
Maybe it sounds insane.... But then again we don't learn what's possible by always saying things are impossible......
And btw: no one likes a hypocrite.

I have never heard in magic that nothing is impossible. We create our realit, however, the Earth is alive, has a consciousness and creates its reality, that we are a part of. Likewise, so does the Universe. What we can change is quite small compared to that and while we are a part of these, we do not control them. Magic will help you realize it.

Now, what you have limitless potential for is your own life. Through magic you learn to operate within and use the natural laws that govern everything to its maximum potential. You learn to break free of limitations that you set on yourself and that others have conditioned you to have. And you have the potential to become more than human within the evolutionary process set up by the Earth and the Universe. Unfortunately, that does not include vampires, werewolves and mermaids. Sorry, I didn't make the rules.

In defense of those who seem hypocritical, understand that for many of us, we have spent years of our lives in the study of magic. We have worked and trained, labored and continued on to get to where we are. And we admit that we still have a long way to go. It can be very annoying when someone half your age claims to be some lofty position that they obviously did not grow into. You can tell by the things that people say where they are in their training. And maybe we should be a little bit more understanding of children who can't seperate fantasy from reality. Maybe those children should look at how many times that issue has been addressed. It's a two-way street.

You are correct in saying that we don't learn what is possible by always saying things are impossible. At the same time we don't learn what is possible by living in fantasy. Pushing the boundries is great. I encourage it. But recognize the difference between pushing the boundries and pure fantasy.

In an infinate universe, with infinate time, it is more like that everyting does, has or will exist than it is that there is one thing that doesn't. So, I think, sometime in eternity, someplace in the universe, vampires, werewolves and mermaids exist, have existed or will exist. Same with dragons, reptilian ailens, the Borg, Weaping Angels, and the list goes on. But we are here. Now. And here and now, they do not. Magic is about your potential. The Universe's potential is for the Universe to figure out.

Shawn.

I'm not saying you can just become something like a vampire or wherewolf. What I'm saying is people don't need to leave 50 responses all saying you can't. It was supose to be a comparison. But we don't know things arnt possible. Magic is half the power of the minde. Well we only use about 20 percent of the brain at any given moment. What if we can learn to use 25 the limits raise. Maybe some day a generation will learn to controll the physical world. We don't know and won't know if we always say we can't.

I completely agree with your point that there can be too much of a negative response when someone posts something like that. At the sime time, how many times do we have to address the same issue?

Actually, we use about 12% of our mind, and the rest is taken up by unconscious programs, data storage, and the (deep down) primitave mind which houses the animal survival instincts. The reason that we don't use more than that at any given time is that if we were aware of all the functions we would either go bonkers trying to get everything done that we need to, or forget something we shouldn't. I personally am glad I don't have to remember to breathe or keep my heart beating. I lose my keys about once a week! Lol!

There are, on occasion, people who use more than their normal brain percentage. Einstien was one. No one can argue that he was a genius. By all studies, he used about 20%. He also could not tie his shoes. He spent the last years of his life in a trailer park. Granted he worked tutoring kids in math and took payment in jelly beans (My dream job!)... See, there was a trade off. Another example is Stephen Hawking. I fully believe that he uses more than 12% of his mind. I also think that, unfortunately, there are parts of his brain that are not being used for their intended purpose, so he uses them for other purposes. I have no way of verifying that, so take that with a grain of salt.

We will, one day, evole a more complex neural matrix and become something more than we are now. I have no doubts. Homo Sapien is the product of centuries of this process, and it will continue. And we should all strive to live to the fullest potential that we can. At the same time, as I said before, we are here. Now. We can push the limits, but first we have to accept that there are limits to push.

Shawn.
