Before the ritual candle will not be superfluous addition to sanctify. Dip the candle in pure mineral or distilled water, and then pass it through the smoke from the smoking incense.
Among the large variety of candle stands out a way to support the method of five fingers, which is called the Women's grip. Female = four fingers grip hold a candle to one side, and fifth thumb on the other side. Correct position of the fingers, the thumb is against the gap between the middle and ring fingers. Hold a candle in his hand fingertips.

I don't know what marfa posted but here is your answer. When you are doing a candle spell you want to use the right color and size etc. Some spells ask that the candle be allowed to burn out and then the stub be buried so a small candle is in order. Colors for candles are important. Red for love, green for money etc you get the picture. IF the spell says 'charge' the candle then you do this : take whatever oil ( or essence ) and for drawing spells ( those for which you ask for something) you anoint the candle from the ends toward the 'center'. For spells where you want to 'banish' something like a bad habit then you anoint the candle from the 'center' out. During the 'charging' you are to focus on what you want the candle and its flame to do. Seeing your spell work. Once thats done you may proceed with the spell.....

Marfa, do you mean you can't use the same candle in more than one spell? it's true you can't [though i've been told if you purify it it'll work, but i've never tried that myself] your wording was kinda confusing.

candle magic comes down to a few things, but charging is very important. it's rather simple, take the candle and feel/visualize energy leaving you and entering the candle. if it's a wealth spell you're doing visualize you getting money, and all the good things that would come from it.

I agree with Marfa. One candle - one ritual, One goal. You can not now be used for candle love spell, love of one girl, and tomorrow the rest of the same candle love spell for another girl or guy. One candle-one program. do not be greedy! The Higher Powers do not like it!
