Poltergeist?

Ok, so for the past few days, weird things have been happening. Like ghostly things.

First of all, before I begin, there are a few things I want you too know. It was night time, around 3:30am. My mum was in bed, my brother was in the kitchen and my sister and I were in the lounge, her watching TV and me playing on my iPad. Besides the TV, against the wall, theres a baby rocker seat with one of those toy rings that spins around to arouse the baby.

I call my brothers girlfriend my sister cause she lives with us and she seems like a sis to me, so when i say that my brother sleeps with my sister, remember that its not really my sister :P

Me and my sister were minding our own business when all of a sudden, we saw the toy ring starting to spin slowly by itself. Please note, that NO ONE was anywhere near it and there was NO draft or anything. We watched it, and i admit , I was scared. What scared us the most was when it span around really fast, as if it were angry. I couldnt move. I was scared stiff. My sister (who is now 18) creeped out big time. She practically ran out of the room, saying something about how she is never going near it again. I stayed where I was, and watched it. It eventually slowed down. I was also intrigued, so I walked over to it and sat down.

I looked over at the buttons and noticed that everything was off. The music, the spinner and the rocker. The only way it could be moving was that something was pushing it. So, feeling like a complete idiot, I started talking to it. I felt a presence with me. I started going on about how I was friendly and that it didnt have to worry. I asked it a question, if it were a boy or a girl. I said 'Spin the toys around if your a boy, stay still if your a girl.'

Believe me when I say that I didnt think it would work, but it did. After 5 seconds, it span around fast, and that meant I was talking to a boy spirit.

I got up and ran over to my sisters (ill call her Ben, short for Benicia) room to show her that she didnt have to be scared and to come and see the ghost. She came out and she looked spooked about something, so I asked her what was wrong. 'I was trying to go to sleep when I saw the cots toys begin to spin around, just like in the lounge. This house is haunted, man!' she said to me.

Even my brother had seen it, and he was spooked because apparently he was gonna go to bed too. So I told Ben to come in the lounge, and she was hesitant, I could instantly tell. I told her that it was friendly, and then she eventually came into the lounge with me. The toy ring was still spinning, and Ben never took her eyes off it :P I stood in front of it and explained everything to her. She asked me if I could ask the ghost another question. I sat cross-legged in front of it again and asked it if we knew him. It took a full minute for it to spin fast. I had to keep whispering encouraging words to it xD When it span fast, I looked at Ben and she looked like she calmed down so I went and sat on a sofa chair opposite of her and kept my eyes on the toy ring. It never stopped spinning that night.

So there you have it. Other things have happened in the next few days. Like the DVD player turned on by itself, things have been moved when no ones been around and the laptop turned off by itself 3 times. Ive always felt a new presence ever since, and I knew it was him.

So what do you think? Everything above is completely 100% true. Do we have a new member in the house? Please leave a comment!

Hmmmm sounds to me like your house IS haunted. But a poltergeist is usually a angry spirit that tries to hurt you. This ghost sounds like it or he just wants to be heard. But then again poltergeist is German for "noisy spirit." So it could be both just depends on your perspective. But I am thinking you have a spirit issue. Does he have any unfinished business? Maybe he wants your help. Could be he is lonely too. Sometimes spirits just get lonely cause they don't know they are dead (sometimes) and they just need a friend. Just don't call the ghostbusters lol.

actually, a poltergeist is a spirit attached to a human, whereas a ghost is attached to an object or house. i love the '100% true' comment you added. try comunicating with the spirit. it may be scarry at first, but it's probably friendly. i haven't come across any harmful spirits in my life, though Rori's kind of a gray area lol. spirits for the most part are like people they aren't 100% evil or 100% good, talk to them normally, try not to upset them, and you'll be fine. unless it means harm, then i suggest figuring out if it's haunting the toy or the house. normally if it's an object, get rid of the object and the spirit will leave too since they're attached, or cleanse the house. of couse, you could always ask it to kindly leave.

It is very possible your house is haunted or somebody living there has telekinesis under subconcince control.

thank you all so much for your answers :3 I'm pretty sure that it/he is lonely, because he tries to get my attention by turning off my laptop, turning the TV on, and I'm definitely sure that it's a friendly ghost. I only wish that I could see or speak to him. But he can only answer my yes/no questions by spinning the toy ring. I dont wish to call anyone or cast any protection spells, seeing as it is friendly and in my opinion, it's rude to get rid of a lonely ghost. Ghosts used to be people too (unless it's an animals ghost) and I think they deserve the same respect! He only seems to hang around me, he always goes away or stays still when someone else around. Even Ben too! I've grown attached to him, and I'm wondering of he's grown attached to me :P Maybe I'll ask him that tonight when everyones asleep ^_^

oh and another teensy question.
Why has this ghost chosen my house for it's new home? I'm 95% sure that he was never here before, and this house has no history record of deaths or hauntings? it wasn't even built that long ago, like maybe 6-12 years ago?
This house isn't special for any reason :/

Something there is attracting the ghost. Maybe left over psychic energy? It has got to be some type of energy though if what you say is true. Ghosts just don't appear out of nowhere no pun intended.
