return to sender

This is a chant I wrote for a return to sender spell. I am working on the ritual to go along with it. Some items I want to incorporate are a feather, a shark tooth, cats claws, a bell and a mirror along with other items. Id appreciate feedback.

In place of good will
You consigned me a curse
Charmed is this mirror
To send it reverse

Yours is careless, thoughtless rhyme
Karmic debt is what is mine
Armed with fang and claw and wing
The knell of justice I solemnly ring

Harmful intent stand still and grow cold
Then turn back to your sender, in form threefold

It is decently written. Are you going to incorporate each item at the point they are spoken in the spell?

Yes that is the direction I was leaning in.

I have a question; could it be a cats whisker instead of a cats claw?

This post is 11 years old, and the two people who posted here have long deleted their accounts. I doubt you will get feedback from either of them on the purposes of the included ingredients.

I don't see the association between at least most of the listed items and the end purpose either, so I'm a bit baffled as to what they have to do with the rest.

If you prefer a cat's whisker to its claw because you happen to have a cat and so know you can find and collect its shed whiskers, also know that where a cat sharpens its claws, you may also easily find its shed claw sheaths. No harm is necessary to collect either item.

This spell links a verse to the cat claw and a cat whisker would not be a good substitute for this spell. One could substitute the herb cat's claw in this instance since it has protective properties and the verse is referencing an act of protection as one returns to the sender what was sent. If you have a different claw to use that would also work for this particular spell. I also suggest using a black mirror for this spell as they are also a scrying tool that can help one to navigate these often dangerous waters, for we would not want to send things to the wrong place. Protection magic should always be maintained and this type of spell can be used to help keep unwanted energy away as it sends the directly sent junk to be returned to where it came from so that it's never resent. Personally I love to work with candles and oils and I would add a return to sender inscribed candle anointed with return to sender oil as I chant and cast this spell.

Many blessings,

Katie
