Eh. There's a type of Kenisis for every element almost. Ex: Pyrokenisis (The ability to move fire with your mind). Now Idk if its actually factual but you never know :) Ill let the rest of the Forum have at this.

I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know about that, but pyrokinesis, along with hydrokinesis, aerokinesis, and whatever kind of kinesis earth would be do exist and are one hundred percent real

Though the above is true...there is as of yet no real proof of this, so until such time as someone bends water in front of me I will tend not to believe it.

For things like this, you should remove all variables when you test it.

For once Mew, I agree with you haha. There hasn't been such a break yet to where someone could literally, for example, make water "bend" for them (lift it up, shape it, ect.) BUT there have been instances where people could take a bowl of water and create waves and move light objects atop of said water(All disrupting variables made sure to be removed). Even making a simple candle flame move by someones will has been seen ( I even tried it :D and it worked to an extent).

Only thing is...you would have to put both in a vacuum to properly test it. This would work for the water, but not for the flame as flame needs air as a source of combustion. ;)

You see, even minor air currents can cause waves or flickering.
