Potion Stirring

A subject of curiosity to me and limited knowledge. My research into this has been a dead end, seeing as how there is little to know mention of stircraft online.

What I'm really looking for is a numerical system. 1 stir means this, 2 stirs mean that.

Anyone out there in the know on this topic?

I also wondering, is there a different if you stir it clockwise or counter clockwise? For instance if you start as a certain place and stir it in certain direction will it have any affect?

All I really know on that is clockwise is for something you want to increase, and counter clock wise is for decreasing

The above is true, but personally, I dont think it makes a difference. It never has for me, and thats coming from years of potion making!

All numbers in the occult are linked to different things. Once you understand their meanings you can apply them to everything in magick. Look up the symbolism in numbers and you'll find you answers.

Sunwise and moonwise, deosil and widdershins, clockwise and counterclockwise all depend on your culture/path and location (southern hemisphere verses northern hemisphere).

In Cherokee medicine, counterclockwise is used almost always. My circles are always drawn in a widdershins direction.

Widdershins in european magick is moon associated and only became known as a decreasing/banishing movement in modern times.

Modern witches use deosil for invoking and widdershins for banishing. In pendulum usage, most view clockwise as a positive answer and counterclockwise as a negative one.

In the southern hemisphere the natural rotation is reversed. Toilets flush counterclockwise! Lol
