Balance and The Universe

I am curious, so I present you all with a question.

Is the concept of balance in the universe a theory, law, or illusion? Please explain your answer.

Theory= idea that has not been proven absolutely to be true or false
Law= theory that has been proven 99% true with the 1% chance of being false not yet proven
Illusion-trick of the mind in believing something that is false to the point of non-existence

I already know my answer here, but I wish to see others responses, views, and evidence of their ideas b4 I post what I think...

I am going to go very basic here. IT IS A LAW. Balance is mantained by a simple factor in the universe: Good defines evil, evil defines good. If we have a defined good, than its opposite must be present to define it. Without one, there is no meaning. With both, there is balance.

This is quite a unique question.
In my view of the concept of balance in the universe is neither a theory, law or illusion.

Why?(Answers below)
1.The universe is vast for which we know and don`t know at times.
2.Balance is merely an action to be healthy in the mind, body and the soul. This often helps us to be more connected to the universe which then increases our intuition.
3.The universe has massive energy waves that are often much of tidal waves as huge as tsunamis.

Basically, the concept of balance is no law, theory or illusion. Its rather a mysterious yet hollow space.

I don`t believe that there is right or wrong because these are just perceptions.Perceptions is what makes reality real.If anyone is against what i`m saying. Please tell me why do you think i`m wrong in a polite way.

The Universe is a violent, beautiful and mysterious place. We're only a part of it. But I would believe it is Law.

I definately see ur point Solarn. I believe I get what you mean...and it is indeed a very valid point...Granted, the universe is indeed vast, it is actually still growing and expanding after all of this time, but despite that infinite expansion, there is even an opposite to it and in this case they help balance each other out (infinite expansion of universe and the balance for it is matter and the ability to break it down. Like the universe is expanding, look at breaking down matter not in terms of vastness, but terms beyond microscopic, so far to the point that we cannot break it down all the way.I agree with ur number 2 and number 3, but they too still fall 2 balance in my opinion. The reason I say that is b/c both of those points (number 2 only loosely) are based on the idea of energy, and what does energy do once it is released? It comes back, it is never truly destroyed. The energy coming back around in the world is the universes way of keepin a balance of chaos and peace. Course, this is just what I think, but u be sure to let me know what u think of this though...

Logically, I would say that good and evil exist only in the eye of the beholder and thus there is no need for a cosmic "balance."

Spiritually, I would say that the universe is innately good and that there is no balance. Good generally wins out over evil. Lux lucis victum totus.

Ah, yes. But if there is no evil left, than what says what we do is truly good? Good must be defined by evil, just as evil must be defined by good.

Now you will see.. That evil will always triumph over good..
Because good is dumb..
And we have cookies..

Okay going into serious mode.
I say it isn't a theory, law or illusion, more of something that cannot be explained, or unexplained.
It is balance, afterall.

I doubt the universe is good.
Bad things happen.
Seems like they happen more then good things.
