Lost Path

Hey all, I've been on this site for the rough estimate of 6 years. I'm still confused on the path for which I want to endure upon. I've been interested in Wiccan for a bit; but alas I don't feel it's exactly what I want.

If anyone has any suggestions of Druidism and Shamanism.
And I believe in lycanthropy .. But I had to learn very little on my own. Anyway any insight will be most appreciated. :)

I decided just to make my own. There are no paths to the witch's cottage in the woods, really.

My starter was psionics. It wasn't welcoming to neo-Wiccan witchcraft, though, which seemed to also be influenced by New Age interpretations of Jungian archetypal psychology and Joseph Campbell's unified theory of world mythology.

For a while, I felt drawn to more Reconstructionist practices between Celtic and Norse, except that I felt like I should only stick with one, and the more mystical experiences with them kept bouncing me about. So I gave up, squished them together, and called it Faelatry.

The magic that I practice still has many of the methods of psionics, but the language I use for it is from fairy lore.

I'm still open to influences from established traditions, to help articulate what the everloving what has been going on with me (because magic can be very strange), but I at least have a name for where I stand.

Feel free to message me if you ever want to geek out about bardic mysticism, seidhr, galdhr, core shamanism (or I think it's neo-shamanism now, just because anthropologists make mistakes) or Australian Dreamtime. :-)
