I have a strict no candle rule in my house because of safety hazards i have had in the past and was wondering if there is something else i can use to represent fire while doing spells/rituals that require a representation of fire.

The use of electric candles is a very good idea, just the imitation of fire can work when representing the elements. You can also use igneous rock to represent the element due to their fiery creations.

There are some recepies for foods that can be used to represent fire, especially if using kitchen witchcraft. You can always use herbs to represent the fire element, especially things like chili, red pepper and others.

I hope this helps somewhat.

Yes, you may be able to use electric candles, it is a different form of fire, kind of like an alternative. Or as H20 said, you can use kitchen herbs like peppers and such.
