This site and Religion

Alright, I'm a little spotty on something. When you use and practice magic, does it have anything to do with religion? I hear people talking about the god of air and such and this has left me very confused. I'm new here, and a christian, although I don't know exactly how all of this ties into magic. Please help!

It should be understood that although magick is sometimes synonymous with religion the two do not need to be practiced together and can in fact be used seperatly! Even the word magick is stereotypical when used in some contexts! All magick practice and even religion is designed as a spiritual journey to better ones self and to better understand our lives, our place in the world, and how we interact with everyone around us!
