Casting a Circle

I have very little idea on how to cast a circle. Some spells that would be very helpful to me I have to turn back because I have no idea how to cast a circle. A lot more spells than I thought call for it. So, I was wondering how you do it.

If your a beginner you shouldn't do any spell without a circle. You should also learn the basics before working with magick and spells and casting is circle is apart of the basics.
There a number of different ways to cast a circle.

Heres a good one.

a spell does not require a circle, but it's good practice no doubt.

it contains the energy, centers the individual, and wards off negative influences/ protects.

Thank you so much. I have done a spell and it has worked without casting a circle but it is a good thing to know how to do.

Is it better to use sea salt or is that just for cleansing? i've been doing some research but it's also good to ask questions if you want answers. :-)

Many spells do not require a circle to be cast for them to be properly done. I cast spells regularly without casting a circle.
