Mythologies
By:
Hello. So, I have been studying the different aspects of magick, and mythology is something I want to look into more. I know a little bit about Greek mythology, but I don't know the others or where a good place to start looking is. I know that there is Roman, Norse, Germanic, Celtic, but what are the others? Thanks :)

You should probably learn one by one. Start with the ones you know. There is alot of different pantheons with many different gods and other divine beings.

Honestly, the list is too long. There are many mythologies to be named. You should google it and you can find the list on wikipedia.
I am experience in Hindu mythology, so if you decide to study it, just mail and ask.

If i were you id set aside all of those mythological subjects and focus on one at a time. Many different cultures have divine beings they call gods for a purpose or act they have performed to earn said title. While understanding it set of myths will bring you a greater understanding of the views of other paths it can also bring about the burden of trying to comprehend and/or include them into the knowledge of our own culture.

The problematic issue with taking one mythology at a time is that in order to fully understand the mythology, you need to fully understand the culture behind the mythology, and in order to fully understand the culture, you need to study as much of its history as humanly possible. In the case of reconstructionists and revivalists, they can study a single mythology for their entire lifetime in an attempt to accurately bring the traditions of the past into the current age.
