Candle spell/ritutals

When candle spells/rituals are done, meaning when they have burned out naturally, can you keep the remains, the puddle of wax? Is it okay to keep it? For awhile? I know the proper disposal is to bury it when you are done with it and not just put it in the garbage but I was wondering if it is okay to keep it for an extended period of time? Please give me specific details on the three things, the completion of the candle spell/ritual puddle of wax, keeping it and the proper disposal, burying versus throwing away like it is garbage.

Most times when you do candle magick you either let the candle burn it's self out or snuff it. It really depends on what the spell is for as to what is done with the ashes.

You mean the wax puddle? I was seeing if it is okay to be kept for a period of time before properly taking care of it by burying it. If that was okay and keeping it would still keep it in effect.

I throw mine out. I live in the city and the way i see it the landfill is my back yard. But the purpose of the candle is to give energy to your spell or sealing. Or divineing. Either way. What you do with leftover wax puddles is up to you. I know that if i saved very many and i have before. I would run out of room saving something i already used.
