Beltane is probably my favorite holiday, and I plan on having a small gathering to celebrate; Does anyone have some festive recipes they are willing to share? I would greatly appreciate it.

My biological mother was fairly big on candied sweet violets this time of year. They are quite simple to make.

You'll need:
2&1/2 to 3 cups of loose, cleaned sweet violet blossoms
1 cup of confectioner's or donut sugar (AKA powdered sugar)
1/4 cup (about) of milk or water

Mix the sugar and milk until you have a glaze the consistency of glue, if needed add a little more sugar or milk depending on the thickness.
Dip individual blossoms (can do several at a time, but they need space) in the mixture. Place them on wax paper. Once they have all been dipped, move them to the freezer or fridge for about and hour so that they solidify nicely. Enjoy!

I'd highly suggest this book as it has stuff for every holiday and if you're ever looking for something and can't seem to find anything for a particular one http://www.amazon.com/The-Wiccan-Holiday-Cookbook-ebook/dp/B007NUYRZO/ref=tmm_kin_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1367055901&sr=8-1

I would post them here but I'm 100% that I'm allowed to openly post stuff the comes from a book on here as I can't really give credit to it in a way

Thank you, I appreciate that. I'll probably just print the whole thing off, make a nice little cook book out of it.
