I don't think insane people would be able to have access to these kind of sites.

Depends what you mean by insane. Aleister Crowley wrote some of the finest works on the occult. But to the general public he was insane.Insanity has many forms, just as other mental diseases have. And that's what insanity is, mental illness. Megalomania (Adolf Hitler?) is a form of insanity.
Now, the question is would insanity affect your "abilities". It would probably affect some, sometimes all. But some of the great composers, great scientists, great explorers were all quite bonkers!

If I remember correctly, the idea of insanity to Albert Einstein was the repetition of an action over and over again. I don't know, it just came to mind :)

Inanity is (in my opinion) another term like "good" and "evil", where it is a judgement cast by others upon someone/thing. There are some disorders that could greatly effect your abilities, while others would not.

Take schizophrenia for example. One with this disorder would have a hard time telling reality from the world they create in their mind. They would also have a hard time with logical/critical thinking. This could make it very difficult, whereas mild psychosis (causes auditory and visual hallucinations) may not.
