"Imagination is more important than knowledge" -Albert Einstein I have to say I agree with this quote for many reasons but if I had to say some reasons it would be that because your imagination may cause you to wonder about certain things, leading you to gain knowledge, and this is what many scientists, philosophers, etc. do in order to discover something. Another thing is that you can never get bored with your imagination compared with what you know.

Please add a subject next time, as it makes it easier to see what a post is about and find it.

As for the quote, I agree to a degree. Your imagination may lead you to ponder things, by which you gain knowledge. But I feel that knowledge is very important in its own regard, and should not be held in less of a view than imagination.

I believe in a balancing care for both imagination and knowledge, one can seek towards the other, thus bringing harmony between the two melodies.

I believe that Albert meant that imagination is more important than knowledge when it comes to understanding the creative side of the universe. One can have a lot of knowledge however if one can not imagine a use for that knowledge then there is little use for that knowledge. Think of it as you might possess the knowledge to create but if you can not imagine something new to create how are you going to create something new?
