The person who goes by thecontact sounds a lot like another who went by the name buzboy (or bugboy). He also claimed to know all sorts of different spells and would tell others to pm him as well.
But to get back to the gentleman who would like a spell.

I agree with the rest. You need to learn your basics first, then you'll know exactly what you are dealing with, and how to use them in your magic. And no, you are not too old to learn magic. I'm over 50 (I won't say by how much) and only started a few months ago. And I'm still learning. There will never be a time when you will say "I've learned all that there is to know", because in magic, as well as in life, that just does not happen.

So, be patient and learn, knowing that you will reach your goal.

Blessed be.

Troll:

"an internet user who sends inflammatory or provocative messages designed to elicit negative responses or start a flame-war. (As a fisherman trolls for an unsuspecting fish.) : Don't answer those silly messages. Some troll is just looking for an argument."

"An electronic mail message, Usenet posting or other (electronic) communication which is intentionally incorrect, but not overtly controversial (compare flame bait), or the act of sending such a message. Trolling aims to elicit an emotional reaction from those with a hair-trigger on the reply key. A really subtle troll makes some people lose their minds. "
