Looking for a mentor

I have been learning and teaching myself for a few years but would like an experienced mentor. I'm not part of a coven, if that matters.

A mentor, you say. But in which tradition?

A couple warnings about online mentoring, however, are these:

You will be limiting yourself to that one person's interpretation of the tradition they follow, and their knowledge alone. With self study, you have the opportunity to explore many different mindsets and methods. You will also have access to much more data; books, web sites, and so much more will hold information at hand that most people could not recall in an instant.

You will still ultimately be reading, then practicing separately. It will be strikingly similar to what you have already been doing.

Granted, having a mentor in the same tradition will be great as a sounding board, and a source of information and structure.

Rather than a mentor may I suggest you find a group to simply help you along your journey for the time being?
