A lesson on Karma

Personally, I don't believe in karma. I believe it's God just setting things right. Bit that's not what I'm here to talk about. I have made a potion to pull a prank on my friend. But, since I'm not sure if the chatter rules apply here, I'm not going to tell you what spell I did. But it messed me up mentally, and I lost my friend(not death, thank God). I would say more, but I have to leave soon. So I'll post more in the comments.

I do not follow. You made a prank potion and it messed you up mentally?

Karma isn't actually a simply concept of "what you do can have consquences." It is actually a specifically religous one having to do with one's status in life and how their actions in their past lives influnced that and how their actions in this life can influence their status in the next.

But I digress.

Pranks sometimes backfire. It doesn't matter that you used magic or not. People can get offended by pranks and decide they're going to leave. It happens. There isn't any specific rule on the chatter or here that says you can't talk about a spell you've cast, so I'm not sure what you mean by that. I'm also not entirely sure why you would use magic of any kind to pull a prank on someone. To each their own, but that seems like a strange way to use magic.

I know it didn't make much sense, because it was like 630 in the morning and I had to go to school, so I couldn't give much detail. Let me get into details. A week or two before I used the potion, my friend told me that he was having a dream. I can't remember why, but some of the details he told about it makes me think that he astral projected. So, I suggested to him that it might be astral projection. See now, he likes to talk sexualy as a joking type thing, and me and my stupid teen-ager brain was like," hey, why don't I make a lust potion as prank." So, I made a lust potion and put it into his water on a friday. But throughout that weekend I started to get Homosexual thoughts(that's were the " screwed up mentally part comes from) and they were intense. But on Monday, he started to not talk to me. And he still isn't. Then on Tuesday I prayed for the spell to be lifted. Now these thoughts are not as extreme(I think that I still have a " Remnant of the experience" AKA Still having some of those thoughts). People don't just stop talking for no reason. This is what I thinked happened. I put the potion in his water( he wanted me to go fill his water) and the potion made him think lustfully (for me, I didn't want anything bad to happen if I "hooked him up" with another guy. Because I believed that I can control myself). After that, I believe that he felt that he was actually gay, and broke up with his girlfriend. Then, while he was dreaming/ Astral projecting , a denizen from the plane told him what I did. I just wanted to tell my story so that others may know what not to do. If you have any questions, please do ask.

This sounds a bit farfetched honestly. How old are you? No, wait, don't answer that.

I do not believe it is possible to make someone lust for another. And if he isn't talking to you, how did you get all this information?

All the information I gave after " This is what I think happened". Is what I think happened, not what it really is. Otherwise, the other information I got before the spell. And I do believe that magick can make someone lust for you, but there has to be atleast a little bit of that in there(their?) Already. And, for all that I know, he could've stopped talking to me because of other reasons.

@RedGlow: You can, actually, make someone feel lust towards another.

@GluttonFree: Maybe you should just give him time. He may come around. He may not. All seems a bit strange to me hhonestly.

Although it is commonly agreed upon that karma of one life can affect the other, some are not aware that karma can impact the future of your present life as well. Saturn (Shani in the Hindu religion) is attributed as the God of Deeds, the one who casts judgement on an individual based on their actions. In Hindu astrology, some are born with Saturn being in a favorable position in their birth charts, whereas others are likely to face difficulty when it's in a not so favorable position so that they may "learn their leason."

That is the true meaning. However, the western world has a different approach to it, and it's quite common to consider one part of the definition true over other.

In regards to the potion, are you sure you're not overthinking this and simply caused yourself a headache? Not to discredit your abilities or anything, but just try not to take yourself too seriously.

Ya, I'm probably over thinking it, but a headache? No, just some, I really hope I don't get gagged for saying this, homosexual thoughts. I'll talk with my friend and see what he says.
