Amber and jet necklace

Hi everyone! I was just wondering what all of your opinions are concerning making an amber and jet necklace, if there should be any particular way or order it should be made, and if it's something that should only be used by a more experienced witch. I'm thinking about making one, but I know that there are paths out there that only reserve it for the second or third degree... So what do all of you think? Oh and on a side note, I may have found a good source of moldavite beads, do you think they would be appropriate to add to it as well, despite that being non-traditional?

You might want to explain this item a little more. I can't say I've ever heard of it.

I will caution you about one thing.

Traditionally an amber and jet necklace is only worn by a 3rd degree initiate in a British Traditional Wiccan coven. While there is nothing to prevent you making one for yourself you may run into those who will give you a hard time should you wear such a necklace in front of other Wiccans or Pagans.

On the other hand, if you mix the amber and jet with the Moldavite beads (love that stone) then it no longer has that association with any particular Tradition or rank. It would be something entirely personal to you.
