This question is for people who are familiar with The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Since this text was first published in the United Kingdom...is this a Nordic text?

My grandfather is the Twain fan, but he was an American author so I do believe they were first published there. Either way just because something is published in Europe [U.K] doesn't make it Nordic Text. I don't study Norse or Norwegian, but I'm fairly certain Nordic Text is old rune carvings. Twain may be old but he isn't that old lol.

Yes, Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) was an American author. He also wrote Tom Sawyer. Both great books!

Hmm...well thanks for the tip...I just started on the novel and wow...I'm not sure if I want to be a fan b/c of the vocabulary but it is still a beautiful piece of literature...

How could it possibly be Nordic when it takes place in Mississippi in the 19th century?
