Hello,I was just wondering if somebody could explain to me what binding spells are and how they work.

Do they stop a person from doing something?

Thank you for your time.

Okay, but can it be used on somebody who doesn't quit understand boundaries or who won't mind their own business,or do they have to be trying to cause you physical harm?

Bindings are used for many things, not just to "bind people from harm". You could use one for the purpose you stated. While wrapping a recent picture of them, or item of theirs, visualize them trying to do whatever it is that they have been doing, and stopping short. If it is things they say, visualize the rope covering their mouth and them unable to speak to you. If it envolves them physically touching you, visualize their hands and arms being bound to their sides.

Another thing you could try is creating a shield to repel them. Regular shielding works against some. For difficult individuals it helps to find out things that they fear or that disgust them, and work those into your shielding methods. For example, this one person that used to bother me fears spiders (but I don't). When working on my shielding I would visualize spiders crawling all around the outer edge. Every time they came near me they got a creepy/upset feeling they did not understand. Now they do not bother me at all xD

Binding means to keep something bad/harmful away from you if you do a Binding spell. It's more like protection.

Actually binding means to tie down xD Bindings are used in many things, not just as protection.

You can bind people together, bind an entity to something, bind yourself to a thought/feeling/trait... I would go on and on but I made a post for such reasons :P

Even this list only shows some of the uses of bindings.
