Say we were to purchase 1lb of a specific type of stone, is one pound everything shown in the photo or just half of them?

1 lb.of stones is 1lb. of stones. So if they are small sized stones you will get a lot. If they are larger stones, then you may get one or two.
You always want to look at the measurement of the stones when you are ordering.
