Newbie how to and what to

Hi

I'm new to magic and spell's wondering what kind of spells are good to start off with for a newbie like me, In a thread I heard newbie should start with protection spells and I happen to find many protection spells so confused which one is best and effective.

hi well if your a newbie on magick in general I think you need to practice meditation every day its very important and spells for a newbie I would look for simple protection spells like cleansing where your going to do your spells and just minor things.

I agree protection and healing spells are easy to work with. Basics are the ones which I would recommend to start with. As its said they are the basics of magick. By practicing them you may also get a general understanding of how magick works.

Also about.com is a good site for all kinds of info. Once there, put Wicca basics in the search bar. It will take you to basics of magick, too. I was on it for hours just looking and reading. And copy and pasted a lot of things to my computer.
