commercial items use

Somewhere on a blog and I lost the link someone posted about that they use commercial items in magick. The blog gave ratings on a list of things. Two Lush products were mentioned one bath item containig roses which was used for a love spell.
Does anyone remember seeing this site?
A good example is Florida water - Lanman & Kemp, which started out as a cologne and is now very much used in magickal works of certain paths.

Have you thought to do a web-search on the site that you may have found this on? Google does occasionally turn up helpful links to follow.
But this practice is fairly common. At one point, what we consider tools were originally every day objects one could find in the market, all because it would be less conspicuous to use such an item.
Technically, any item that you find while out shopping could be used somehow in the craft - though I wouldn't necessarily advise using any item. So the fact that Florida Water started as a cologne is not that surprising.
Good luck in finding your website!

I use a lot of store bought items. Bath salts, bubble bath... I go by the scent of the product. Jasmine bath salts for working with your psychic abilities. Oil for an oil warmer. There are a lot of things on the shelves that you can use. And it is easier to hide if you can't practice openly.
