Twisted/Spiral wicks

I have burned a candle on different occasions for the same spell I have been working for a month now. The last 2 times I have done it the wick burns still standing facing down in a clockwise spiral when before it burned straight and many times "fell" and went out in the wax. Has anyone ever heard of this happening and maybe knows what it could mean? The spell its for is not exactly a "white" spell but thats all I can say for now...

I have thought it is a sign of some sort but not sure I have put in the same if not more energy the last 2 times and have changed the spell up the flames have been taller, stronger, and burned longer then the rest and Its all been from the same candle.. ( I buy a long candle and break it down to several) So thats why it being the candle its self goes out the window lol

While I've heard of such things before I always like to play the skeptic for the sake of skeptical thinking. It could possibly be changes of humidity and other such conditions having an impact, or a variation in the location where the candle is burning resulting in differences of air flow.

Again though, I've heard of/seen this resulting in some magic. So...*shrug*

People have used candles a potent forms of divination for a long time. I believe it's called creomancy.

Are you anointing the candles with any oil or other fluids? Is there any draft?

And i'm confused about your description of the candle wick. Are you saying that when the candle burns all the way down, what's left is the wick in a spiral shape still burning in the wax remnants? Or are you saying that when the candle is still upright with wax that the wick is falling downward and extinguishing itself before the candle has a chance to burn down?

the candle is burning all the way out but instead of the wick laying in the left over wax (normally a thin layer) it is still standing and the wick is curved down and spiraled almost like a U shape but one of the straight sides is spiraled .. I have burned the candle in the same spot there really hasnt been much temp change and I have been burned the last 2 at night instead of during the day
