Habit Breaking Spell

I have a habit of biting my fingernails until they almost bleed. I hate this and I tell myself, "I'm going to stop!" But later I find myself biting at my nails again. Is there a spell that can help me?

A spell isn't needed for this, you can do it by mundane means, much like with every habit you need to find a way of distracting yourself away from biting your nails, finding a replacement for it in your life.

Whether that is taking up a hobby that engages your hands, or doing more excersise. Find something that you can mess with, with your hands, to distract your from biting your nails.

A lot of the time nail biters will do it when they are bored, or alone without distraction (myself included many years ago), by finding a replacement for the nail biting you can grow them to a length where you won't want to bite them anymore.

You could also try nail art if you are that way enclined, putting effort into your nails can be a good distraction, nail varnish tastes horrible and you would ruin your hard work and effort.

would be nice, but i don't know of one for nail biting. [i do know of some for smoking, you might be able to alter one of those] any spells for bad habits should be done during the waning moon phase as the energy is best for taking things away. you could try designing your own spell.

there's also a number of tricks you could use to help you. dipping your fingers in hot sauce is an old one, you could also place a rubber band on your wrist and snap it whenever you catch yourself biting your nails [or when you come close to] you could also put tap on your fingers [not too tight] so you can't bite your nails.

Though there may be spells which assist, and perhaps even possibly cause auto-suggestion deep enough to be used as self-hypnosis, more often than not breaking a bad habit is a process.

Magic can be used nonetheless! Remember: magic is change in accordance with will! Many traditions consider inner magic the ultimate goal: enlightenment, becoming a better person, positive change.

Mantras, meditations, visualixztions, talismans charged with intent, what have you! Yes, even spells to make progress. All of these things can aid your goal to stop biting your nails!
