Holy water recipe

This is my personal holy water my coven and I like using. I decided to share it since a lot of my friends were asking me how to make it so here it is. Have fun.

Holy Water Recipe:

1. Pinch of Garlic (powdered is best)

2. Three pinches of Sea salt

3. Pinch of Basil

4. Pinch of Sage (powdered or ground is best)

5. White oak shavings (optional)

6. Three drops or a teaspoon of Olive oil (extra virgin is best)

7. Pinch of Cinnamon (powdered is best)

8. Pinch of Rosemary (optional)

Natural water is optimal like rain water, lake, or river. Tap water can work too if you can't wait for it to rain or if your not near a lake or river. heat the water till it boils then add ingredients and let it continue boiling for 8 minutes then let it cool, then bless it with a spell of your choice most blessings are compatible with this. The only draw back to this is that this type of holy water
might only be viable for 1 whole year and you'll have to make more when it's a year old for it may not work.

Sometimes setting it to bask in the sunlight for a while like an hour or half may give it more power this too is optional.

Pardon me, but I'm quite curious about this. Holy water is a water that has been blessed by a (Catholic) priest. So when you say holy water how is it holy water (when/if) it is not blessed by a priest?

Also the blessing is more or less a prayer to god to bless the water for (x) and is simply water. Here you are imbuing this spell on the water and lightly boiling it with ingredients. So it is to add to a spell and not so much a holy water, but the focus now is that the ingredients who's properties metaphysical may not be a good match for the spell a person may cast additional.

This separates basic differences of magic: a magic a person casts (like a spell or ritual) and what a person asks a deity to help with (like a prayer or blessing).

It's not holy water as you and most might understand it's very involved and trying to describe it will be difficult, many cultures have there own forms of what they call holy water which to monotheists would see as it not being as such, that's just our perspectives. It's holy water to me so I share as inspiration for some who might want to try something different since I take very unorthodox path of the occult.

That's fine and dandy. I'm simply curious and would like to see it clarified and covered for anyone else who may be curious and do not mind asking questions even if I already know the answer to it as it may help out another.

My thing is though that you say holy water but holy water in its technicalities is a water blessed by a priest for ceremony. Which is not what you describe. You describe a water with a spell added to it and mixed with properties/ingredients that may not be the best thing for what people might use this for. Sure you can exchange this and exchange that. But then it becomes pretty my h just another average ritual item that you can tweak to your own personal use and not what it was meant to be. Which in this case would be the proclaimed holy water that isnt even that.

True it can't be used for what most are comfortable with but it can be used with other things, like I said its easily misunderstood and part of the point is for it to be some what contradictory. I'm glad this is teasing your mind also I apologize if I seem vague in my explaining I was never good at talking through typing.

Sounds to me like he is saying your (not) holy water ingredients is more for a stew or soup than it is for an actual holy water which as I have said before is blessed water. Not water boiled with added ingredients.

I know this is a few months old, but, Dion Fortune gives a procedure for making holy water in her book, Psychic Self Defense.
So while this recipe does sound more like soup, don't knock it till you try it seems to fit.
