Here's a youtube where I casted my very first spell for prosperity and money it worked like 2 weeks later. Its really in depth and the lady just uses simple ingredients to dress the candle; olive oil, honey and sugar.

The best start is to have a good look in the forums, there are a few good ones for beginners, so you can get the basics down and begin to learn techniques of meditation, grounding, centering, etc.
