Tarot Lessons

I would like to begin talking about Tarot, and I would like some opinions on how to start. I am thinking about doing a walk through of the Major Arcana one card at a time, and possibly do some free readings. Please get back to me and let me know your opinions.

This is how my Grandmum taught me.

Pick a deck that you have an affinity with. That you look at the artwork and say, "OMG! These are so beautiful, or magical, or exactly what I'm looking for".

Throw the guide away. Don't even look at it. Just throw it away.

Take each card, and place it between your hands. Run your energy through it. Feel your soul/ power/ energy/ life force coating each card.

Write down a meaning that the card means to you. What do the pictures suggest? What do you think it means?

Spreads are done individually. There's no right or wrong way to induce a spread. If someone's question is "Is this the right person?" What does the pull tell you? One card, two, three, 18? How many do you feel need to be pulled to have clarification?

Read what you see. Don't hold back. Even if it's horrible. Even if it's mean. The cards are clear. Your divination can't be riddled with guilt or suspicion.

With enough practice, you'll "see" clearly. Good luck!
