After the Basics

This post will be done in a series form:
Alright, so I have decided that at some point after discussing the basics an outline for actual works needs to be laid out. Here is a five tier/twenty conjuration tier system that I have been studying, but is not of my own creation. Now this system does not require you to adhere to any specific belief system and can be tailored to your personal preferences. I will not provide every step just the outline for what needs doing. It?s up to you to figure out how to do it. Also, a journal should be kept to mark the passing through of each conjuration at each level. The proving grounds for the conjurations herein are the social and business places of the witch. It is important to keep interests around outside of one?s magical practices.
` To begin I will explain how the system works. There are five conjurations Evocation, Divination, Enchantment, Invocation, and Illumination. Each conjuration should be completed before moving on to the next tier as each plays a role as you move on. As you move from Sorcery, the most physically based, to Astral, the most psychically based, will have a different level of each of the conjurations. As you move upward through the tiers you will be attempting to break down the barrier between the conscious mind and the subconscious and move from one state of mind to the next. It is advisable to have a journal where you can make note of the accomplishments of each conjuration on each tier and completing the set of five before moving on to the next tier.
Evocation is working with independent spirits (Wights, Demons, Angels, Egregores, etc.) to achieve results, generally through divination and enchantment. Divination is any attempt to glean information otherwise unknowable, through a magical medium. Enchantment is any attempt through any magical means for a witch to enforce his or her will on reality. Invocation, generally working with god-forms (These god-forms usually taking the form of pagan deities) which allows the witch to be a horse to empower enchantment or help working towards divinatory ends. Finally, illumination is the strengthening of one?s self through the machinations of enchantment.

Now the five tier system works like this: Sorcery, shamanic, ritualistic, and astral. Sorcery is where tools are introduced and used to make them symbolic to the subconscious, for later use. This tier uses conscious stimulation and reinforcement to enact change on reality. The shamanic tier uses altered states of mind (half-sleep, dreams, trances, etc.). Working in altered states of mind familiarizes one with the subconscious's symbology which will help at the next two tiers. It also allows one to move more smoothly between mental states, which is imperative to later tiers. The next tier, ritual magic, brings together the tools of the Sorcery level and the mental fluidity and prowess of the shamanic level. This allow the magic-user to more effectively channel energy and desire more directly into reality. Astral magic is ritual magic, just on the astral plane.

What is the fifth?
According to you Sorcery (1), Shamanic (2), Ritual (3), and Astral (4) are the five tiers of practice.

Oh sorry I meant to cut that one out. It's high magic, but isn't covered thoroughly in the article and it's not something I practice. So I don't feel particularly comfortable informing others of it or the way it works.

Sorcery Conjuration 1:

Sorcery evocation is completed through the use of fetishes. Fetishes are any physical object used to represent somethings else (Poppets, totems, etc.). Two fetishes are usually created: 1) For warding against negativity and attracting success and 2)For attracting knowledge. These fetishes are spoken to and filled with the intent of the magic user and should be treated with respect as if they were living. Fetishes are generally more effective if created by hand with the intention in mind.

Why do you people feel the need to tell others what to study? This is a "Series" of what one person studies not what all do. I think this is being very closed minded telling everyone this is what you do next. There are so many different things to learn and each person should do their own studying for what they and only they wish to do. So that said People do what You feel is right for What Your going to do not what someone else says.
