Scrying
By:
I'm interested in scrying as a method of contact with the dead, and I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on how to go about it. I am planning on using the method in Konstantinos' book "Speak with the Dead", using a bowl of water.

Has anyone here scryed before? If so, what was your experience with it? Do I need to cleanse the area I'm in before I begin? Thank you all for your responses.

I've also studied from the works of kanstantinos, and another great method is to use a black glass mirror. If i do recall (and i might be wrong about this) you use a catheter or some simple way to draw blood and rub it on the mirror, like how it's put into the bowl of water.

but as far as going about it, i would say you should cleanse the area definitely, so you know your only talking to the spirit summoned.

Now, how does scrying differ from necromancy? Does necromancy have the conjured spirit perform a task for you? Is scrying a technique used in necromancy?

Necromancy is the art of raising the dead to receive information of the future or other things. Scrying can be used to evoke a spirit but not always. When your scrying you basiclly projecting you thoughts onto the mirror and you see your thoughts in the mirror. You could also use a scrying mirror to get a vision of the future or past. Scrying mirrors could be used for necromancy but scrying is not necromancy. Blessed be
