Being ignored?

I'm not sure how many people on this site would agree with me, but my view of spells is that they are just the physical acting out or consecration of your intentions, wishes, etc. As such, it's not important to me to follow a written spell to the letter. I think taking a private moment to have that dialogue is enough, basically.

That said! I have made a few "requests" over the last year for the same thing, and I feel pointedly ignored by THE UNIVERSE. Because they're "love spell"ish in nature, I've been fairly ambiguous about it. I have no desire to turn someone's will, etc. I think my intentions and requests have been pretty pure. And I think I have made them clearly. Still nothing, and no encouragement.

Would you call this bad timing or do you really think it matters to follow some book another person has written when it comes to my own communion with the forces of the universe? Because that sounds wrong to me.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

you can certainly use someone elses spells, but your own writings will be seen with your situation, the other spell could be to make someone gain something to a certain degree, or yours could be to get something at all. There are many different circumstances that dictate what a spell can do, or not do. if you don't fully believe that you have power it generally will not work. also, if what you ask for is attainable easily through your own means do so, spells i find to be like a little buffer to tip the scales of the possible outcomes, so to say. but thats not to say you could be doing anything wrong, sometimes spells are weaker if not done synonymously with the proper moon phase, its all about placement and your desire. if you need any help feel free to send me a private message, aesirww

Well, I believe that magick is tailored to the individual, but books are good training wheels.

How much do you think about the spell after its been cast?
-Not thinking too much about it reinforces the vibe 'I know it will work'
If you keep a journal, during other types of spells, how long before you see signs of progression (including dreams or overhearing a conversation)?
I'd start in these two places when working out the kinks to a spell.

What kind of "love" spells are you referring to?
Unless you want to improve the relationship you're already in, "love" spells do require you to force your will onto others.

Using the correct colors/offerings takes little effort, and will grab the attention of the goddesses/gods.

Tell us a little more about your goals, and what you've been doing, so we can help you improve, or make suggestions, etc.

My question has to be how did you word those requests and how strong were your intentions.

In my opinion your are right with your view, however it is the amount of time and effort placed in the spell that gives it power. It is the dedication and sacrifice that makes the spell effective. Universally, nothing can be gained without an equal amount being spent. So if you are simply making passing requests you sacrifice nothing nearly and seek to gain everything.

I suggest when doing these things you sacrifice time and energy to achieve your end goal. Remember the more you put in, the more you get out.

Some of these spells are fake, and there's alot of stuff magic can't do alone.
