Greetings to people who discovered my thread and took time to read it, I would even be more thankful if you continue 'till the end. I apologize for any mistakes that you Will Find in here.
I heard a lot of talk about how everyone has a past life that he forgot when he was born again, and frankly; I'm not really beliving this because it has never been proven to me!!
I can't say it Doesn't exist because I simply don't know that. So I'm turning to you here since you have proven to me more than once that most of you are very reliable and aren't about to go around telling me random fantasies.
Is there really a past life and is it possible I have one ? If yes, then what are the techniques that I should practice to get glimpses or perhaps memories?
I do admit that sometimes I have a sense of Déja Vu When some things happen but I always convince myself its' just my tired brain playing games on me.
If you could probably give me a clue or a simple answer or a link that I can trust I would be more than grateful !!
The subject of past lives is very debatable because if past lives exist then so does the theory of reincarnation and that theory interferes with other beliefs. So their is not a yes or no answer to your question. It all depends on what you belive.
You're both certainly right because If I go back to my religion it does mention something like this but not quite the same. However, I do believe that this is real because we're not a Soul in a body, we are a soul wearing many bodies . Thank you for making me notice that.
I believe in reincarnation, but I have never had it "proven" to me and I would like to know if anyone knows a good meditation or such to help uncover past lives. I believe I was once an Egyptian due to my overwhelming attraction to Egypt and it's gods ( an eveythig else encompassing Egypt ) but I just don't know.
There actually are hypnotic techniques that allow a person to "remember" past lives. Sylvia Brown once reported an event where her patient (this was accidental as he was just trying to lose some weight) started speaking Assyrian (which he didn't know) and commenting on the Egyptian Pyramids. I think the clearest way you can tell if you had a past life is that you feel a connection to something or someplace that you can't explain, a lot of people go someplace exotic and inexplicably feel like they've gone home. I personally felt something when I heard of persecution against a somebody who wrote "Earth isn't the only world God created".
Other 'worlds' with other 'rules' or existions. Life here or on other places and so on. Well, it is a bitt about what oneself at the moment se as ones 'truth' and dosent mean one is wrong or right, right:)
If you don't feel like 'from this place' that 'something isn't quite right. You probaly arn't of this world originally, maybe also it's ones first life here. And haven't goten used to the 'rules' and so on.
Some are 'new born souls' and having theyr first 'life'
Those mostly don't belive in past life and so on, sins they haven't had anny:)
And so on.
Some things that are mostly related about past life.
When one feel a conection with some that are, well. Deja vu ish. Like you alreddy know them. You probaly do.
If you feel conected to any special 'mytholigy/belife or mythology being.
Could be that you have encountered these on the 'place/world' where they origin from.
(example: dragons, werewolf or the half man half 'dogs' in Egypt. And so on. Difrent cultures with almost identical descriptions of the beings. And great distance. )
I personally believe in past lives. Many things Silvia Browne said really made sense and felt right to me also. I think I have an old soul. I often feel Im not of this world but I believe that we are souls wearing bodies like astronauts wear space suits and we take many journeys on this Earth and possibly others.

On the topic of dreams, there are different 'kinds' some are memory from other lifes. Where there might be smal or no controlling the events in the dreams. (in cases where past life dreams one still have some control of events. It's most likly do to that rules of that place are not 'bound' by ower time rule.)
