Do not summon or evoke anything if you do not know how to do it property. As I say again DONT ! You may call upon something you don't want to disturb. Definitely something someone new to magick should not do. Even if your evoking a higher being I suggest try something else. Don't bite off more you can chew.

Thanks for warning me. I understand what I am getting in to. This is something really important to me, and I have done some research on Nagas. I plan on doing a bit more practice with magic in general, before i go through with this. I would like for someone to help find a way to summon or invite one, and to help answer questions like weather summoning one would be too risky, and if it is best to invite one, and if I should summon or invite one as a spirit, deity or demon, etc., or how to act around one (like how to respect a Naga). But I understand the danger of dealing with beings as powerful as Nagas, and I still want to go through with it.

Your research, then, will contain your answers.

The best advice I can give besides the answers that have already been given is to be respectful. For instance you were warned not to summon or evoke anything without prior knowledge of what you are doing yet I would extend that further to simply not doing it period. Summoning is more of a demand based action and to put in in a a simple way how would you react if someone demanded you appear before them? You wouldn't likely be in a good mood or feel respected. You should always invite or request the presence of such entities in a polite, respectful manner. As previously stated you need to research this thoroughly not only the method for contacting them but also protecting yourself.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply to me. I am determined to go through with this, despite the warnings you gave me, as I mentioned earlier, getting in contact holds much importance to me, and I feel the need to go through with it. You all gave great replies, and if I didn't feel as strongly as I do about inviting a spirit as powerful as a Naga, I would not go through with it... at least not after your warnings. As I mentioned previously, I have done a lot of research, but there is a problem. All the sources mention the Naga differently, some even throughout the article/website. do any of you know if I should Invite one as a demon, deitie, a race of serpent, supernatural serpent being, water spirit, guardian, personified force of nature, demigod, or divine water-serpent, etc. If anyone knows, please include that in the response. since the reaserch sources are limited, I couldn't find too much so everything is apreciated.

Well for starters which naga are you referring to? There are many different kinds. Through out time and history many cultures have adopted the name naga but were referring to different deities. For example the first naga summoned was by a monk mythology records indicate a monk was the first to summon one. This naga had the head of a serpatine king cobra an the body of man. The monk summoned this serpatine to aide him in a mission. That night when the monk went to sleep the naga transformed into a full on king cobra an slept beside him. the monk woke in the early morning hours to find the cobra resting beside him. the naga wanted to be a monk and in his want of being a monk he ate the monk he was suppose to aide an transformed into a full human to be ordanied by the order. The Lord Buddha summoned the naga and told him he may not remain as a monk, at which the utterly disconsolate snake began to weep. The snake was given the Five Precepts as the means to attaining a human existence in his next life when he can then be a monk. Then out of compassion for the sad snake, the Lord Buddha said that from then on all candidates for the monkhood be called 'Naga' as a consolation. They are still called 'Naga' to this day.

For Malay sailors, ngas are a type of dragon with many heads; in Thailand and Java, the nga is a wealthy underworld deity. In Laos they are beaked water serpents.

The seven-headed nagas depicted as statues on Cambodian temples such as Angkor Wat, apparently represent the seven races within naga society, which has a mythological, or symbolic, association with "the seven colors of the rainbow". Furthermore, Cambodian naga possess numerological symbolism in the number of their heads. Odd-headed naga symbolise the Male Energy, Infinity, Timelessness, and Immortality. This is because, numerologically, all odd numbers come from One (1). Even-headed naga are said to be "Female, representing Physicality, Mortality, Temporality, and the Earth.

As for some of the other post i have read answering your question you do need to be careful trying to summon a naga. One wrong ingredient or incantation could lead you to summoning something you do not want to mess with.

As an experienced pagan who has a coven for a family i have seen many times where someone has tried to summon a specific deity an summoned something far worse.

So just be careful in what you are dealing with.....

thanks for the reminder... I'm kinda desperate, so I'll take whatever I can get, but preferably, I would like to invite a Naga that is less powerful. I already know that Nagas are considered deities, and I know that what I am inviting is going to be dangerous and powerful. But, thanks again for the reminder, you have all been helpful and I will keep what you all said in mind.
