Hey everyone, I didn't know what category to post this in, but how can I tell if my magick is strong?

Any physical signs to look out for or any sensations whilst performing a spell that would perhaps indicate that my magick is strong?

might feel warm or pin's and needles. you might also feel light headed [but that can also be the result of using too much energy] if you don't ground after casting a spell and still have some energy in your body, you could feel light headed [you could also feel hyper] just remember spell casting is a skill, the better you get at energy work, the more 'powerful' you will become in your craft.

Thank you for that answer Nekoshema! I will certainly work on my energy and grounding myself in future.

I did in fact have strong waves of euphoria and goosebumps from head to toe when I was doing my spell, I felt a strong sense like there were spirits around me whilst doing the spell, from reading the flame, it appears my work will be/has been successful, but just wanted to check.

Some food for thought is that 'strength' is, of itself, a relative term. There are many kinds of strength and many expressions and applications. The same goes for magic.

For example, some are naturally connected with their intuition, and so insights and inspirations come quickly and naturally. While for some others it is a skill they can only tap into through conscious and deliberate effort through meditation or ritual.

The same goes for healing or protection. Where some might be more susceptible to the influences of negative events or entities, some naturally have an understanding of the principles of Authority and Self that make it very difficult for their cage to get rattled. Some are naturally connected to their higher self. Some have a measure of authority and command that comes with barely a hint of study.

In the end, individuals all have different aspects and practices within the umbrella of magic that come naturally and easily to them. And in these things they might be considered 'strong' because of it. While in other things they just can't seem to connect with to the same level as others. it has a lot to do with one's pre-dispositions and the nature of one's attitudes, experiences, and fascinations. After all it is much easier to learn about something that excites you then it is to drudge through a topic you feel no interest in.

Maybe a suggestion would be to deepen that personal search by reflecting on what sorts of topics or ideas come to you easily or intuitively. Some things can feel almost like the information was always there, just needing some sort of trigger to put the thoughts into place. This is usually a solid sign you have a measure of aptitude towards that topic.

@Spirit76

I am definitely a highly intuitive individual.

As previously mentioned, a sudden onset of goosebumps all over my arms, back and neck took place.

I sensed a spirit present during a spell I did, noticed I was naturally very focused on the spell naturally.

I know I have some degree of effectiveness when performing certain spells and rituals, but was looking more for an answer that would indicate what signs I should look out for that my magick is strong and my spell is working.
