Jackdaws are a member of the Corvus clade, along with crows and ravens, so the Morrighan is a possibility. I'm not certain, though.

I did a touch of research, and it seems the crow is actually associated with a few different deities. And are also deific or symbolic themselves in some cultures.

Crow/raven is a part of several western native american myths and stories, often as a trickster or messenger. I remember one story that involved crows gathering together and stealing the sun.

Raven is also associated with Apollo as a messenger, in Norse mythology as the eyes and ears of odin. A Christian saint ( St. Vincent) had ravens protect his body from being devoured by wild animals, allowing his followers to recover it. And of course they are associated with Morrigan, badb as already said. Also bran the blessed I think.
