Spell disabling

I have no opinion on this, but many people hate seeing fantasy spells in non-fantasy areas. I have an idea to remedy this.
There should be an option to hide spells from the Spell Casters council. This way, most of the fantasy spells are weeded out, as most other covens do not allow such things. And the councils in other covens are more likely to provide better spells, as even the more normal Spell Casters spells can be bad.
Again, I have no opinion, but lots of others do.

The problem with this idea is that you are singling out a whole coven full of people, which includes many knowledgeable members who have contributed to the site in good, useful spells, which is very unfair.

In every community you will have problematic people, in this community they post fake spells, but they can also come from other covens too, just because Spell Casters has an automatic acceptance into the council doesn't mean they are the only perpetrators; And despite the annoyance it causes long time members, these fake spells bring a lot of footfall to the website and in turn bring a lot of new members genuinely interested in learning.

Maybe instead of hiding all spells from spell casters, make the council position harder to gain, maybe only members who have proven they have real knowledge rather than just anyone who wants to join the coven. If all spells provided by covens were hidden from anyone outside of the coven, the website would not attract half as many people as it does, that is why the spell casters spells are visible for everyone.

I meant as in a toggle. It defaults to showing the spells, but you can toggle them off, maybe with a feature to allow people with Beginner, Novice, Knowledgeable, etc. ranks.

Maybe we can have instead a button similar to how a report button would work and it marks spells as fluffy and can be reviewed as somebody with authority on the website.

"Fluffy" spells are what attracts people to the site. Removing them would do more harm than good. I still like the toggle idea.

The website would lose more of its fame if ever you are going to remove certain "fluffy spells" if ever it will be removed. But your idea about the toggle is a great idea and it would help out a lot.

Please find the right word for the title not being rude but I thought in the first place this was all about spell rewinding, undoing or disabling a curse. :P
