I noticed in pictures of Odin sitting
on his throne,there are two
wolves at his side with the two
ravens perched on his throne.
Who are the two wolves?

That would be a "modern" illustration. The two wolves represent the Good and Evil that is in all of us. The idea is that the one you feed the most will be the dominant emotion; Good or Evil. It is a very old idea. Whether or not it has anything to do with Odin I'm not sure of!

They are named Geri and Freki, respectively meaning the "ravenous" one and the "greedy" one. They eat the food that Odin does not consume, as he only drinks.
