Not that I'm aware of.
I think it'd depend on the kind of spell you were attempting to perform.

soar throat could be you were speaking loudly, the incense bothered your throat, could of been the change of season [i get soar throats around this time] or perhaps you should balance your throat chakra. its probably just a passing throat cold due to the season, ut its worth a shot. drink some hot honey and lemon to sooth it.
