it's kinda hard to know what happens to satanists when they die when we still dont know what happens to normal people when they die;) but it really depends on what you believe. satanists really arent all that different from us. if you read the satanic bible really there are still the basic moral outlines of any other religion, so why would they be tortured? i think that when you die, you cease to exist because your brain (what makes you 'you') stops functioning. so i dont beleive satanists would get special treatment when they croak.

That would depend on the satanist in question. Some believe they will go to hell, but not be tortured, while others, like myself, don't believe in any sort of afterlife at all.

This all depends on your belief but I can be certain that no one can tell you for sure what happens afterlife.

I believe Anton La Vey stated they don't live for an afterlife, or they don't believe in an afterlife. They live to indulge all that life has to offer.

Theistic satanists all differ, some believe you get to choose, others believe they will go to an afterlife they call 'hell', but it is not the christian version of torture. Others believe they cease to exist.

Who is correct? Noone knows.

Many people do ask spirits what there is on the other side. They either come up with different answers or the spirit will not tell them at all.

This is because everyone's perception is unique, perception filters every spiritual experience causing every bit of information based upon experience to be subjective. One person's truth may not be your truth.

I personally subscribe to it being someones choice when they die- i.e. reincarnation, resting in the afterlife etc. However I may be wrong, but my perception of certain experiences give me this outlook.

However if I am to take Neuropsychology and other mainstream science into account, I would say according to the physical evidence there is no afterlife and personality is governed by the brain and so if any energy is released from my corpse it will not be me, but a higher expression of energy which is capable of producing me.

These are my beliefs, and many people disagree with me completely and I like diversity. No one can tell you what happens after death, they can give you their experiences. The same goes for spirits- they can give you their experience of death, but that doesn't make it universally true. However, there is the question of what these spirits are, they may be projections of the collective unconscious which your psyche merely makes you believe are external to you....or they could be bonafide discarnate entities.

No one knows anything for sure, we just have experiences to go off.

Very interesting point, Hadit .La Veyan Satanic philosophy rejects the concept of The 7 Cardinal Sins as defined by the Catholic Church, and as outlined in their Bible, and hence, do indulge their desires openly and without guilt or remorse. If I recall correctly(it's been 20 years since I read The Satanic Bible)Anton La Vey did dismiss the concept of the afterlife. I am unsure how a Luciferian would view such matters, though. Probably yes, as Satan is Lord of the Underworld and the dead according to Biblical references. But the afterlife is certainly a personal view and belief, dependent on the individual and I do not subscribe to it either.

I should definitely give it a re-read, now that it has been brought up.

I didn't think much of LaVey when it came to occult matters, spritual practices and magick etc.

However I did find his philosophy intriguing and refreshing in places, I will have to reread the book as well.

LaVey and his daughters Zara LaVey and Zeena LaVey have both stated on TV that they don't believe in a concept of the afterlife, they live for the now.

I would also like to point out that LaVey believes in indulgence and specifically states this is different from compulsion. Compulsion is when the indulgence becomes a need and controls the individual. With indulgence, the person is completely in control.
