Lost!

I am very new to the concept of magic because I have a close minded Christian family who would disown me if they new I was even thinking about anything but the Christ. Christianity doesn't feel right and I've been fascinated by magic from a young age. The only problem is that I am utterly lost. I need help on where to start and would like information on the different paths I can take. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

I recommend these posts, then do study and learn. You need to know HOW before you CAN DO. Do not try casting spells yet, as learning how works here too. If you have never meditated, try the exercise on my bio page. Just click on my user name. Its a relaxing method taken from Hatha Yoga, and is very easy to do.
May you find what you seek.

Depending on the specifics of your religion, you can usually get away with proclaiming your relationship to the God, and leave Jesus out of it. He is just a child of God, after all. All religions have a "God" so that word is pretty much golden. Personally I like the bible and what it teaches, I just take Jesus to be an old school witch.
