Book of Shadows

I have recently purchased my first book of shadows and its divine. Its leather bound with a brass ornate clasp and has 250 (500 sides) of parchment paper.

My question is this, is it better to hand write your book of shadows?

I want it to be pretty and ornate but cant do calligraphy and wondered if sticking pages in that I have printed would be cheating?

I don't think it matters.

depends upon your preference.. if you write, you incur your vibrations there, if you type then you print it's still the same.. you are still the one who work it out..

doesn't matter what you do as long as it is yours..

namaste..

It's arguable that something hand-written might have a more naturally imbued charge due to handwriting taking more time and effort, but there is totally nothing wrong with using a cut-n-paste method.

Just try and make sure it looks nice. Part of a magical tool's power comes from the psychological affect it has on the magician. The more seriously you can take you BoS and the more sacred it seems to you, the better it will be.

if you want to write it out, do it. your energy is entering the book, so it doesn't really matter, just whatever makes it feel personal to you.

It really depends on how you want to do it but writing it out is better (Assuming you have decent hand writing)
