I recently posted a thread under the same name, but have since removed it to make this announcement.
After undergoing a few changes Vampiric Elegance is once again accepting new members. We are currently trying to get the coven active again and are accepting new members that can contribute to the coven and help it grow, or those that are simply interested in learning and willing to participate in discussion. Please keep in mind that the application process is still active. In the past, when the application process was set to auto-accept the function was abused and to prevent this from recurring all applications are now by approval only. We also feel that the application helps us determine where everyone is in their knowledge and growth in the world of magic and helps us to better help our members.
We are also looking for new council members, for anyone that is interested in that as well. However, please keep in mind that the number of council members if determined by the number of active coven members.
Also, if accepted you will be made a member within 24 hours of filling out and submitting your application. We will also send out a pm to let you know just in case you miss it on your profile page upon log in.
For those of you that applied before and have not yet been accepted, if you are still interested please reapply and, after going over your application, I will add you as soon as I can.
To my understanding , your coven icon CANNOT be animated gifs anyone uploading animated gifs will have their coven deleted. Ive tried to mail their HP/S to warn them about this but both their account had been delete
This is Suliana. Unfortunately I was unaware of the issue and now I'm unable to help my coven or do anything to rectify the issue. I only hope that the coven will be ok and that its memebrs will be alright.
As for what will happen to the coven I cannot say. We still have our coven site, but as to whether anything can be done to save the coven here and rectify the issue I am unsure.
I would also like to add that I deeply apologize to the coven and Anahi that this happened and I'm truly sorry that I let you all down with such a stupid mistake. I do hope that you can all forgive me for this. I wish you all the very best.
Well if they were deleted, what about Legion of Light and Dark?
They've had an animated icon for a long time now and never has it been taken up as an issue.
For everyone who does not understand the difference:
"The Icon image is displayed beside your Coven's name on the Coven main page and beside all your public spells on the spell list pages.
It should be somewhat similar to your Coven's logo image above so that people can easilly recognise something as belonging to your Coven.
ANIMATED GIFs ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR YOUR ICON.
Anyone uploading animated gifs will have their coven deleted."
This comes from the page which is under the administrative tools for the priest and priestess of a coven.
Legion has broken no rules in having an animated Coven Logo . I would ask that you refrain from attempting to get other covens in trouble because of your troubles.
Logo's are allowed to be animated. Icons are not. It's as simple as that.
That all said, I hope you find some way to remedy what has happened. Seeing a coven fall, regardless of it's history, is saddening.
Why has this turn into a "Oh look at that other coven let's swat at it just because we're miserable and for some reason have issues with the other one"?
How about instead of trying to attack other covens you try and fix the coven that you're a part of and what you apparently messed up.
It's not rocket science but maybe I'm putting too much stock in people on this site.
