Just a thought..

I'm just requesting that there could possibly be a section on physical alchemy. Another user on here asked for alchemy, so i thought a little more info on transmutation circles, and such would do some good.

again another weird fullmetal alchemist question. their is NO transmutation in alchemy. it is basically alot of math and willpower not to mention knowledge of things like the periodic table. you can't turn something like a truck into a bucket of water by just clapping your hands and shoving energy into a circle you drew.you CAN do stuff like force iron into lead, lead into gold, stuff like that. only thing is you want to start small or else it could get messy. a good example of alchemy at it's truest form would be in francis bacons the magus.hard to follow if u suck at old world english but very good for alchemy.

i would have to agree with yellow eyes on how you can learn about alchemy but i have to disagree on transumation circles. There are similar devises that can be obtained like conjuring circles, energy circles, barrier circles, etc.

Also i hope your being realistic Weird1Xx when you say you want to do alchemy (by the way alchemy is only physical), but the practice is too remote of a form of magick for it to have its own section, there are many other forms of magick that deserve the spot more then alchemy.

just me thoughts :D

There are two approaches to alchemy, one a more spiritual, next is more science.
Paracelsus is a good example of the more spiritual kind of alchemy.
But, Alchemy is chemistry. If you want to learn alchemy, learn chemistry.

Society has changed alchemy a lot... or rather the hidden society of Magycians and witches (and of course alchemists) has. I take a spiritual path into alchemy; the beliefs stretch and some non-believers of magyk take up "alchemy" because they think it's all about chemistry and science; How wrong they are...
