Dark Russian Witchcraft?

Hi!

Recently I had an interesting reading of books by Anais Besova about Russian Witchcraft. She described a very Dark Russian Tradition which involves something which looks like Pact, and most of the workings in her books are done with the help of Demons. Some of those workings include a very heavy curses, so keep it in mind, it is totally not a variance of some modern Wicca-like Tradition.

Does anyone have experience in this Tradition?

Read Bulgakov - Master and Margareth. It is way more interesting. There were only sects and pagans in russia.

Yet, Slavic paganism is very interesting because of huge variety of natural spirits.

Sounds like the tradition uses grimoirium vernum I think misspelled that or similar sources for its knowledge of demons I don't anything about russian witchcraft but its possible some russian witchcraft traditions would have knowledge of Slavic nature spirits and demons both

There was no real satanism. I mean, they had some sects. For example the sect of guys who would cut off their balls. Sorry. But still they did not succeed well cos they were well hunted by police. Yes, as other slavic nations, they had those pagans imps like mermaids, vodyanoy (the father of mermaids and waters) mavki (sort of fairy or dwarf) domoviki, mara, poludennica. But it is just folklore. There was more satanism in literature (a good one) and government (a bad one) than in the heads of common men.

And i guess i could say that i have an experience. For i am not wiccan. Also i live in a country next to Russia, unfortunately, huh. And if you wish i can send you a link in pm for my rituals. I will be publishing my first one up here tomorrow. Yet, dont expect some russian damning words or mythology. Imps are same everywhere.

Of course, Scareholic, that would be very interesting.

What concerns Demons/Imps, indeed, there are many similarities between Demons you can read about in Grimorium Verum, in African Taditions, in Western Traditions and in Russian Tradition.
