dreams vs reality

Lately, (for a couple months now) I've been having very vivid dreams very often. I don't always remember everything that's happened in the dreams, but sometimes just bits and pieces. It is getting to the point that I'm having a hard time trying to differentiate what is reality and what I remember from a dream. When I wake up in the morning, sometimes I have a couple foggy minutes that almost feel like I'm watching myself in a dream. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this the way I meant to.

I don't know much about dreams, but I'm not under any extra stress, I've been to the doctor a couple of times recently for general checkups(everything seems to be fine), and these aren't bad dreams or even seem to be connected to my everyday life, although sometimes they are. I started studying magic only a few months ago, could this be the reason?

Has anyone else experienced this?

When your dreams seem exceptionally real they often are instances of astral travel. Dream travel is a very basic form of AT. They could also be vivid because they mean something. Keep a dream journal and write them down as you remember them. Further reflection or meditation could reveal some answers for you.

I always have vivid dreams,I take lots of prescribed pills due to health issues,I think that's the cause
Nothing ever comes true.

I know it's been a while since my original post. I've been keeping a dream journal like you suggested, but haven't made any connections. The dreams still seem so real! I also remember dreaming about certain people/places/things, maybe not all the details, but I used to forget nearly everything about a dream within a few minutes of waking up.

I'm not on any medications, I don't drink heavily (just one drink an evening about 3 days a week), I can't think of anything else that I've been doing differently.

Like I said, they aren't bad dreams or nightmares, but I feel a little strange that its still happening.
