Rosemary, Dill, chamomile, sage, red clover, and I heard that lavender is good.

Usually when I'm stressed, I'll make teas out of rosemary, sage, and chamomile.

Also I heard peppermint is good for stress too.

Be careful, usually 5-6 cups a day is good depending on the illness. Don't go nuts on the herbs, they can have a negative effect on you.

Treating depression or stress with ingested herbs should be done under the supervision of a trained medical professional. Saint John's Wort can be used to help treat depression however this herb has side effects and may not be suitable for consumption for some people. Especially those with preexisting cardiovascular issues. Passion flower can be used to help treat anxiety which is often triggered by stress. This again should be used under the supervision of a professional.

Aromatherapy can help as well. I use lavender essential oil to help lift my mood in stressful situations or when I feel overwhelmed. A warm bath in Epsom salts, baking soda, and lavender oil will detoxify the body removing stress hormones and other unwanted toxins.

Exercise is also one of the best ways to rid your body and mind of stress and depression. Exercise increases the release of the feel good chemicals in the brain such as serotonin. It also increases the removal of unwanted materials within the body such as but not limited to excess fat.

St John's Wort is the best, but kts is right, not suitable for all. It produces sensitivity to sunlight too, but is very effective.

I use usually lemon grass mixed with orange lemon and a dash of peppermint oils all to defuse in the air. Then I make catnip tea which relaxes you but have caution... Catnip makes you sweat so it's also good if you have a graver.... If that doesn't work try rubbing frankenscents oil in between your eyes, lighting up two purple or blue candles on the ground In a dark room and meditate. Purple is for spiritual stuff so if you are feeling sad spiritually, the purple candles can help you focus your attention to the spirit. blue is for knowledge. I use blue when I am stressed because it allows me to focus on the whole situation and find the problem and fix it. To know what is wrong is better than to be stressed and have no clue why :) good luck
