First off, welcome to the site. I'm glad you found your way here, even though it was through trying to find "real wishes".
Second off, what are you trying to achieve by spells? Is it instantly longer hair, wings, or becoming a mermaid? None of that is possible, just to say that right off the bat. Normally when people come here it's because of those ridiculous reasons.
Thirdly, you have to know how to do it before you do it. If you're just throwing this herb there, and lighting this candle here, it's not going to work right off the bat. You have to know the basic things to do before you start casting spells. Learn how magick works before assuming anything.

For one, welcome to Spells of Magic, two, you can't instantly go into spell casting, you have to learn about magick, it's truth and fakes. Three, You can't expect spells to work instantly, they are not going to go *Poof* and happen right before your eyes. You have to have patients, spells work in their own time, there are quite a few spells that will not work even with patients. That is why you start off with the Basics, to help you understand the concept of realistic magick and unrealistic magick. A motto in which many follow by, "If it feels to good to be true, it probably is."
There are quite a few different threads to help you begin your journey, like "The Basics: Expanded" by AwakeTooLong and "Starting Out" by Starrie, both you can find in the General Information section of the forums. You can also find multiple different articles, you just need to look. Asking questions probably will help you, but please be clear when posting, don't use text talk or anything that could confuse members about your questions.
