Don't be nervous or anything. Most of us don't bite lol.
Definitely check out the FAQ tab, Newbie Central, and some of the articles. If you want you can watch some of the videos here on the site. That should definitely be enough to get you completely ready to know where you are going from there. If you are looking into starting working with magick, the fundamentals include: energy manipulation, grounding, and centering. Some may say that astral projection is an important part of learning magick, but I wouldn't say its necessary(it probably makes it easier though).you may wana learn to meditate, but at first focus on grounding, centering, and energy manipulation.

If you need any help, I'm sure we all will be willing to help you.

Thank you. ^.^ This was very helpful. I should work on my meditating, might help my focus a bit better. And I just get a little nervous around new people, but I guess that's how I met my friends. I feel a bit more confident after filling in my bio, I have a feeling I'll like this site. ^.^

Heheh. maybe work on everything too. I am really new to all of this. My family is Christian, and doesn't believe in magic, so not all that much space to practice. : But I'm almost old enough to move out, then I can be my own person ^.^

I know how you feel. My family is Christian too. Or should I say "christian". They don't really go to church and probably haven't read the vast majority of the bible, but for some reason feel free to tell me whenever I am doing something wrong in the eyes of God. Any how, I just turned 18 so I'm also working on saving money and moving out. I just stay in my room when I practice magick.

heheh. ya, I never really understood christianity. It was Kemeticism of the ancient Egyptians that caught my interests. I'm still somewhat new to it, probably because of the multiple gods and that breaks the first commandment. I just turned 16 in July, still got a couple years to go. Just 2 more years :)

That's alright. Don't spend all your time waiting for those years to be over though.

I'm gonna start spending my free time here. Haven't had enough of it to watch a full episode of anything. I might not be able to freely practice it now, but I can still read and learn. Twilight Sparkle mode activate :)
